The listing is a Kit of the Wheel spacers ( 1 kit always includes 2 spacers; the size indicated is per wheel push out, Example: 2β Wheel spacers kit= 4β increase overall width of the tractor stance) .
Adding spacers to your tractor is a must when running chains for the clearance of the frame/fenders and one of the best improvements one can make. A roll over with the tractor can happen very fast, especially on uneven ground or with a top-heavy load. The spacers greatly improve the machine stance giving you a more stable platform all around for a wonderfully sure-footed machine. Bro-Tek Wheel spacers have a proven design mated with high quality materials and craftsmanship.
A kit includes all hardware needed for the installation, no running around town or waiting for extra parts. Unlike other products, the Bro-Tek Wheel spacer studs remain on the spacer just like the factory hub, making changing wheels very easy for future maintenance.
One piece milled spacer with the inner & outer hub flange to carry the weight of the tractor. Tapered lug nut & lug bolt are used to secure the spacer to the axle, far superior install than a plain Nut. The spacers are designed in the same way as a heavy truck; with press in stud, not tap/threaded into aluminum.
If you check on-line our reputation is one of the best out there, which means we stand behind our product.
We sell directly to tractor dealers across America & they buy/install our product.
When the dealers call the Corporate Manufacturer, they recommend our product over our competition.
If you are running a MMM/ Mid Mount Mower deck, there are a few factors and deck variation over the year which makes it hard to guarantee a perfect fit. The types of tires play a big role. The problem of concern is the 2 rear deck wheels and the rear tires may contact.
We would suggest having a tape line to your rear wheel, lifting your deck to max height and measure the clearance available (give it ΒΌ to Β½β play extra).
Lift the deck to max height & use a piece of 2x4 lumber as a straight edge, works great, if it fits sideways between the tire & deck wheel , you're good with the 1.4β. Some of the Deck will allow 2β.
On some mower decks, the deck wheel can be rotated and locked 180 degrees, pointing towards the front, giving the clearance needed.
An option to consider on a new tractor set-up would be a 3 point rear finish mower with the rear discharge. These mowers are available in multiple brands(Landpride makes an awesome deck). Every blade of this deck shot it out in the back, not robbing power to the tractor like a side discharge and much lower clumping of the chipping. Bonuses: you can use them like a Bush hog, but be aware of the danger of debris...
